Why did you start doing FIT4MOM classes?

I joined FIT4MOM after my daughter turned 8 weeks. I wanted to get out of the house in the winter, meet other moms and exercise. It’s great to have a place I can bring my kids and still do something for myself.

What classes do you currently attend and why do you love them?

Stroller strides and Stroller Barre- the workouts are fun and challenging at just the right amount. They include cardio and total body strengthening and different exercises each day to keep you engaged. The instructors are very welcoming and have a positive attitude.

What's your favorite exercise and why?

Burpees are currently my favorite exercise. They’re fun and challenging, forcing you to use your entire body while also doing cardio.

What's one thing you would go back and tell yourself as a new mom?

I’d tell myself to do whatever makes me and the baby happy and calm. Society places a lot of expectations on what a good mother is supposed to be and it’s okay not conform.
